Runtime.models records a series of single-pass walks through buildings, traced in real time using a 3D scanning app. What begins as a simple movement through physical space becomes a fragmented architectural model: corridors, rooms, walls and thresholds are translated into unstable digital traces, somewhere between documentation, drawing, glitch and spatial memory.
The book brings these scans back into print, turning a web-based and screen-native process into a sequence of images on paper. It is both a walkthrough and a recording: a study of how bodies, devices and buildings produce new forms of image-making when moving together.
A web-based experience of the project is available through the artist’s website.
